Pack an Electric Punch with the Chevy Blazer EV

Chevy will add to its EV lineup next year with their all-new Blazer EV. This new EV will offer drivers everything they want in a sporty SUV, from style to performance and the latest tech. Expect two of the four different trims to hit Chevy dealership lots next year, with the SS joining them the following year and then the entry-level 1LT.

Where’s the Power Coming From?

The new Blazer EV will get power from a combination of electric motors and batteries. What you get depends on the trim level you choose. The 1LT is the entry-level model and will come with front-wheel drive, but before this model hits Chevy dealerships, you’ll find the 2LT and the RS. The 2LT also comes with front-wheel drive, and the RS will offer both front and rear-wheel drive. When the SS arrives, get ready for an all-wheel drive Blazer EV. The 2LT and RS trim levels will get up to 320 miles of range, and the batteries can charge up to 78 miles of range in just ten minutes.

A Familiar Exterior Look

When you look at the Blazer EV from the outside, it won’t seem much different than the gas-powered model other than some extra angles on the sides. One difference between the EV and the regular Blazer that you will notice is the power-opening charge port door. It also has full LED lighting all around, and if you get the RS, the unique exterior lighting features choreographed walk-up and walk-away animations.

Tech Features Galore

It’s probably not a surprise with a new EV that there’s a lot of technology to use and enjoy. From driving tech to infotainment, you’ll have plenty of fun with all the tech in the cabin. Let’s start with the enormous 17.7-inch touch screen you’ll find in the middle of the dash. It comes standard with all Blazer EVs and houses the navigation and media systems. In front of the driver, there’s an 11-inch digital driver information center that stretches across the front to meet the touch screen. This screen provides the driver with any and all information they might need about their Blazer EV and allows them to control things such as the power liftgate.

Whether you’re driving on the highway or squeezing into a tight parking spot, the Chevy Blazer EV can get it done with minimal help from you as long as you keep paying attention.
