For the 2022 Beijing Olympics, there are thirteen exclusive sponsors that are part of the Olympic Partner Programme. These companies make everything happen for the athletes competing at different areas around the designated city.

What Does Each Olympic Sponsor Offer to the Games?

Airbnb

Airbnb provides diverse travel and accommodation options for organizers and stakeholders in the Olympic Games. This company became a Worldwide Olympic Partner in 2019, bringing ways to reduce costs and minimize the need for new accommodation construction at site cities. This sponsor also assists local hosts and communities in site cities to generate direct revenue through the programs offered. Working with the International Paralympic Committee, Airbnb promotes accessibility accommodations for people who need them.

Alibaba Group

The use of e-commerce innovations and cloud-based technology provided by the Alibaba Group bring the Olympics into modern times. This company became a partner in 2017, supporting the Olympic Movement by providing digital media platforms for the games. More than 100,000 visitors to the PyeongChang 2018 games saw firsthand how the Alibaba Cloud services and e-commerce platform provided them with previously unavailable access.

Allianz

Allianz is a world leader in the insurance industry, making them an ideal partner for the Olympic Games. This partnership began in 2021 and runs through 2028, with the sponsor providing insurance solutions to support the Olympic Movement and the National Olympic Committees. This sponsorship covers the Beijing 2022 games, the Paris 2024 games, the Winter Games in 2026, and the Los Angeles games in 2028.

ATOS

As one of the oldest members on this list, ATOS provides key technology for the Olympics. It has done so since 1898 and has been the Worldwide IT Partner since 2001. ATIS is a leader in the digital world, working to provide a fully-connected and secure digital experience for everyone involved in the Olympic Games. Proven technology is being re-used for the current games to minimize the environmental footprint and reduce the costs of the Olympics.

Bridgestone

Bridgestone, a partner since 2014 and the first Founding Partner of the Olympic Channel, uses its creativity to showcase the athletes and their accomplishments. The use of creativity and technology brings athletes and their stories to the world through the support of this company. They also highlight their commitment to community service, social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and respect for diversity through the Olympic programs.

Coca-Cola

The longest-standing partner of the Olympic Movement is Coca-Cola. Having supported every Olympic Games since 1928, this company continues to provide the marketing needed to bring the Olympics to a global audience. Coca-Cola provides a memorable experience for fans around the world, offering background information, performance highlights, and complete sponsorships of many athletes competing in the games. The current sponsorship runs through 2032 but will likely be renewed once again.

The world we live in today requires technology from various companies. Intel is among those technology companies sponsoring the Olympic Games through 5G technology platforms, VR, 3D, and 360 content development platforms. Since 2018, Intel has been at the forefront of advanced technology for the Olympics, providing a unique experience to spectators around the world.

Every Olympic event is a race against time, which requires an official timekeeper. This is the job Omega has proudly performed for the Olympic Games since 1932. Many events are decided by hundredths of a second, and it’s Omega’s job to get that time precisely correct for these games.

Nearly every household in the world uses a P & G item several times a day. The brands we use every day are also used by the support staff, coaches, athletes, and families at the Olympic Games. Samsung

Since 1988, Samsung’s involvement in the Olympic Games has been profound. The Seoul Olympic Games gave this company a chance to be a local sponsor, which grew into a Worldwide Olympic Partner during the Nagano Winter Olympics. Samsung provides IT produces, smartphones, tablets, laptops, personal computers, printers, and other digital devices necessary to conduct the games.

Toyota

Toyota is the mobility partner of the Olympic Games. They became a part of this program in 2015, supplying necessary mobility solutions for teams, staff, and organizers of the Olympic Games. For the past few years, Toyota has provided sustainability solutions during the Games, in keeping with the Olympic key pillars. Sponsor cities benefit from the use of Toyota vehicles during the games, which then are Toyota used cars are sold to add revenue to the Olympic Committee for future games.

Visa

Visa is one of the charter members of this program, beginning its partnership with the Olympics in 1986. Not only does Visa offer various payment services, but they also have a strong tradition of celebrating and supporting more than 500 athletes competing in the Olympic and Paralympic games. Visa provides many of the tools and resources needed for athletes to succeed on and off the field.
