Most Indestructible Dog Toys

Dog owners tend to be a little bit crazy about their fur babies; me included. I let a Bluetick Coonhound kick me out of a king sized bed most nights, so I can’t say that I’m not nuts about my dog. Most of us will pay for allergen-free food, little plastic baggies for picking up doggie messes, and expensive and decorative collars that they scratch at for months before chewing through them. We rack up vet bills or pay for better insurance than we have ourselves. We make sure to pay attention to our dog babies when we get home from work before we even change out of our work clothes. That’s just part of the life when it comes to having a dog.

However, the biggest expense for most pet owners is the outrageous amount of money we spend on toys. Whether you’ve got a tough chewer who can locate the squeaker in ten seconds flat or if you’ve got the destructive type who can vaporize a stuffed toy in mere seconds, the costs add up. If only they made toys that really were as indestructible as some companies claim, we could probably save some money.

The chew toys are made of a tough, yet soft rubber so as not to harm precious puppy jaws. Purchase any one of their hollow toys and fill it with peanut butter to keep your dog occupied (and quiet!)(remember, I have a coonhound. He’s a howler)for hours.

Kyjen Squeaker Mat –If you hate the sound of squeaking then shy away from this one, but if you don’t how your pet has fun, then this is a good one. The toys feature several different squeakers to delight your dog’s senses and harass your ears. The best bonus? There’s no stuffing, so your dog won’t be able to leave the gutted carcass for you to find when you return home from work.

Nylabone –A fan favorite for dog mom’s everywhere, Nylabone makes a variety of different chewies to keep your dog occupied for a really long time. Some of them are flavored, some are shaped like your favorite creatures, and most of them will last for quite a long time. Most of the products offered by Nylabone are pretty inexpensive, so you won’t care if you have to replace them when they’re lost to the recesses of the couch.

JW Pet Company Cuz –You’ve probably seen these cute little toys around your favorite pet store. They look like a ball with feet, but that’s not the best part. They’re super squeaky and they bounce really easily, so if you have a chaser, then your dog is going to love this purchase!

West Paw Zogoflex Hurley –You don’t often find a dog toy that promises that it is 100% indestructible, but the Hurley does just that. Meant to float on water, for the swimmer in your life, or to be played with on land, these toys guarantee that your dog can’t destroy it, no matter where they’re playing.

There’s nothing as thrilling as an occupied dog after a long day at work or when you’re trying to type up that last article before your deadline. However, there is something much more satisfying; when your dog is so satisfied and you don’t have a mess to clean up in ten short minutes. Chew away little guy!
