NASA Has to Officially Deny This Mysterious Space Object Is an Alien Invasion Fleet

The sighting of 31/ATLAS led to theories that it is an alien spaceship, but the NASA response dispels these rumors saying its just a comet.

NASA is pushing back against growing conspiracy theories that interstellar object 3I/ATLAS is actually an alien starship preparing to invade Earth, with officials insisting “it looks like a comet, it does comet things”. The mysterious visitor from deep space has been glowing on its own and spinning rapidly, fueling speculation from Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb that it could deploy “mini probes” when it passes behind the Sun on Halloween. Here’s why some scientists think this could be humanity’s first contact with alien technology – and why NASA says we’re all watching too much sci-fi.

Should all possibilities be taken seriously?

This rare and unusual interstellar object has led to many conspiracy theories, making some scientists think it could be our first contact with an alien invasion, which has been chalked up by NASA to pure speculation. If those theories were from the general public, nobody would take them seriously, but some have come from Avi Loeb, an astrophysicist from Harvard, who brought the alien spacecraft theory to life. 31/ATLAS is expected to make a Halloween approach near Earth, but itdoesn’t pose any real threat to our planet.

What does NASA say?

Instead of thinking that 31/ATLAS is an alien spaceship, we should probably take the NASA response into account. Instead of saying this is some sort of contact with an alien race, NASA has claimed comet identification for the object. They have gone so far as to say that the object is doing things that comets will do. Instead of worrying about an interstellar visitor, the analysis should lead us to believe this is a natural object that has been flying through space for many years. As for UFO conspiracy theories, NASA thinks that people should probably stop watching so much science fiction.

Is there any threat to Earth?

Whether there are little green aliens on 31/ATLAS because it is an alien spaceship, or the NASA response is correct, it is not expected to come near Earth. The current trajectory has the closest approach to our planet as 1.8 AU, which is 170 million miles away. That is four times the distance between Earth and the Moon. This is a safe distance and too remote to influence our planet, given it stays on its current path and doesn’t make a turn towards Earth.

Would aliens be friendly or a threat?

The Dark Forest hypothesis about other civilizations in outer space suggests that other life would view us as a threat to their survival, as we should view them as the same towards us. Of course, if another race were able to make it to Earth, they would have much more advanced technology and survival skills compared to humans. This takes into account the lack of space exploration capabilities humans currently possess compared to the vastness of space.

Should we take Loeb seriously?

Avi Loeb isn’t just anyone who cries wolf to get attention; he is the head of Harvard University’s Galileo Project, which searches for evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence. He wrote a scientific paper, which was published in July, stating that 31/ATLAS might be an alien spaceship, despite the NASA response that claims it is a comet. This object is set for a close pass with Mars near the end of October, and that could tell us a lot more, such as whether or not it’s artificially made or a natural object, such as a comet that has been flying around in space for eons.

Is the government covering something up?

Anytime something strange and interesting appears, conspiracy theories go flying about. Hearing about the possibility of an alien spacecraft has certainly brought about conversations about Roswell, NM, and Area 51, which has been depicted in many movies as home to some captured aliens from decades ago. Right now, 31/ATLAS appears to be a cylindrical object hurling through space, but it might not be anything more than another comet that has never been seen before; it could be something else.

Are we alone in the universe? Do you believe that Earth is the only inhabited planet in the entire universe? Wouldn’t it make sense that other intelligent lifeforms exist on other planets situated perfectly around their suns? What if 31/ATLSA turns out to be an alien spaceship and not the comet suggested by the NASA response?
