What Can You Expect from the Next 2024 Buick Envision

Shoppers everywhere are waiting on pins and needles waiting for the official announcement about the 2024 Buick Envision. 2024 brings the fourth model for the second generation of this popular crossover. While all of the details have yet to emerge on this incredible vehicle, Buick enthusiasts have caught sight of the 2024 prototype.

Here’s what we know so far about the 2024 Buick Envision.

A New Look

It’s not always easy to tell what a prototype will look like in real life. The Buick Envision prototype was draped in heavy vinyl covers and black-and-white camo. We do know that the Envision’s style is based on the new Buick Envista available in China and the Buick Wildcat EV concept.

The front of the Envision will highlight the long, thin, angular lighting signature that comes from the fascia into the front fenders. Under the lightning signatures, you’ll see forward lighting elements mounted in a vertical layout. The fascia is smooth and rounded up to a large angular line that separates the hood line from the primary intake.

The back of the new Buick Envision showcases large tail lamps. Rumors suggest that the prototype taillights are merely placeholders. The muffler and exhaust were also out of view, so it’s unknown what kinds of updates will take place here.

The inside boasts some extra interior space to provide more room for passengers and a larger infotainment screen.

Performance

All signs point to Buick keeping the Envision’s current 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. When paired with its nine-speed automatic transmission, this combination creates 288 horsepower. The Buick Envision comes standard as a front-wheel drive SUV, but all-wheel-drive is available on all trims.

According to the EPA, the Envision will give you 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The AWD option earns 22/29 mpg city/highway.

Improved Safety

The Buick Envision continues to earn excellent crash-test ratings, and the 2024 version is expected to keep up the tradition. You should expect a full suite of driver-assist safety features on every trim level:

    • Forward collision mitigation
    • Lane departure warning
    • Lane-keeping assistance
