Where is Your Favorite Baseball Team Listed?

With eleven weeks of the MLB season in the books, we take a look at the Power Rankings to see where each baseball team is listed.

Is your favorite team somewhere near the top of the list or do they need to put in some extra work and rise up from the bottom? Are you following a team that is ready for a World Series run or will your team be sellers at the trade deadline?

The Tampa Bay Rays Continue to be at the Top

For three weeks in a row, the Rays have held the top spot in the MLB Power Rankings and they continue to be one of the strongest teams in the league. The Rays hold a 43-24 record and have won 24 of their last 29 games. You may see this team playing for the title at the end of the year.

Second Continues to be Where We See the Chicago White Sox

This is the second week in a row that the White Sox have been found in the second spot. This team brings a 41-25 record through eleven weeks of play. If this team from Chicago is your favorite baseball team, you’ll be glad to see they are currently the favorites to win the American League Central division and might make a deep postseason run.

The Third Spot Goes to the San Francisco Giants

The Giants moved up one spot to be in the third position on this list. This team has been tough to beat all year long. While currently the top team in their division, the Giants are in one of the toughest divisions that baseball has to offer this year. Their record of 41-25 is excellent and allows them to have a strong lead through eleven weeks.

Fourth Place Goes to the Los Angeles Dodgers

Many MLB fans have turned to the Dodgers as their favorite baseball team. This team is one of the most historic names in the league and they find their way up two places to the fourth position this week. The record of 40-26 is a strong one and this team will be going up against the Giants and other NL West teams all year long.

The Boston Red Sox Fell a Couple of Spots

We see the Red Sox in the fifth position on the list of MLB Power Rankings. This team has been hitting the ball well and has a strong starting rotation on the mound. The Red Sox hold a 40-27 record and are only a couple of games behind the Rays in the AL East. Will this Boston team be the representative in the World Series? We won’t know for several months.

We See the Oakland Athletics in the Sixth Spot

Moving up two spots from last week, the A’s are in sixth on the MLB Power Rankings. This team carries a 41-27 record through eleven weeks and is a team that’s easy to root for. If you don’t have a favorite baseball team, you might want to follow the Oakland Athletics and enjoy a team that plays baseball hard and fundamentally sound every day.

The Houston Astros Continue in the Seventh Spot

When looking at the MLB Power Rankings, we see the Houston Astros seventh on the list. As the top team in the AL West, there’s a good chance this team will make the playoffs and be the champion of the division. The Astros bring a 37-28 record through eleven weeks and will probably have an even better record as they play more games against their division.

Eighth Goes to the San Diego Padres

Out of the first eight teams on this list, the Padres are the third representative of the NL West. Another team that could be a lot of fun to follow, you might want to make the Padres your favorite baseball team. The Padres have a record of 38-30 and continue to play tough and strong against divisional competition and could be one of the teams left standing when the postseason arrives.
