A New Way to View the Marvel Movies
Currently, there are 23 Marvel movies that you can watch and enjoy with a variety of heroes and villains to give you the stories you love.
Most have been around the block a few times, some are certainly favorites, and others leave you thinking they weren’t up to the normal quality of this organization. Maybe you’ve watched them all in order of event, but now you can watch them in order of ranking based on worst to best and see if you agree.
Worst, Iron Man 2
It’s probably not a secret that Iron Man 2 is one of the worst Marvel movies offered. Even so, the story is important to the overall movement through the Marvel Universe.
Ranked 22, The Incredible Hulk
The star of The Incredible Hulk isn’t the same one as what we see in later movies and this solo movie was not quite up to the quality we expect from Marvel.
21. Thor: The Dark World
If there wasn’t any chemistry between the main characters, this movie would have been last on the list. It lacks a lot of what we want from Marvel movies, but it did add important details to the mix.
20. Avengers: Age of Ultron
Some have loved this movie as it introduces new characters and others have hated it. Either way, on our list it comes in the 20thspot but could be one of the most important of the movies in the franchise.
19. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
This is a Marvel movie with very little content and it doesn’t add much at all to the overall story that brings us toward the end of the Marvel Universe. It’s a bit of a surprise this movie is ranked higher than some of the others.
18. Thor (Although this is an Important Movie)
We are getting into nitpicky territory with this one. Without Thor, we wouldn’t have the story of his struggles and the romance between him and Natalie Portman’s character. Even so, there is a certain quality that is lacking in this movie.
17. Captain Marvel
Most of this Marvel movie was great but the story toward the end leaves a bit to be desired. The story of the origin of Captain Marvel is important to the Marvel Universe, but some of the items are far-fetched and make us wonder about the decision-making going on.
16. Avengers: Infinity War
How this movie made it all the way down to 16 is a wonder, it’s certainly one of the most impressive movies in the franchise and it can be considered one of the best by some. There just might be a bit of a Marvel overload going on that dropped this movie to 16.
15. Doctor Strange
There could have been fewer scenes of the multiverse taking place, but we might not understand it as well as we do if there were. This movie was pretty good overall, but it might have been one that little children weren’t pleased with.
14. Captain America: Civil War
It’s a bit hard to deal with some of the promotional imagery in the movie and having a pair of heroes fighting each other is tough to take. Overall, this is a great movie, but there are so many that outrank it that it’s not hard to see why it’s at 14.
13. Spider-Man: Far From Home
It’s a wonder this Marvel Movie is ranked this high, but some must have loved it enough to put it here. It’s one of those movies that could have been left out of the mix and the Marvel Universe would have been fine.
12. Ant-Man and the Wasp
With the fun antics of Paul Rudd and the fun of the adventures of Ant-Man, this movie should have been ranked higher, which means we have a lot more to look forward to.
11. Avengers: Endgame
This movie might have been a bit too long to make it to the top of this list, especially since it had to fill the time to give Marvel the amount of movie time they desired.
10. Iron Man 3
We go on an amazing adventure with Iron Man in this movie and see how some of the characters develop. There’s no doubt this is a movie worth watching several times.
9. Captain America: Winter Soldier
Finding Bucky, learning he can’t trust everyone at SHIELD, and fighting against those he once thought of as friends makes this a great Marvel movie to watch.
8. Spider-Man: Homecoming
This is a great story of the friendly superhero that wants to be more than simply a neighborhood icon. The struggle and the adventure are great and you’ll want to see this movie several times.
7. Ant-Man
Enjoy the humor, the struggle, and the discovery of how to talk to ants that we see in this movie. You’ll be pleased with the fun and banter that takes place in this Marvel movie.
6. Thor: Ragnarok
Even though the original Thor ranked low on the list, this one is pretty good with lots of twists and turns that will keep you entertained.
5. Marvel’s The Avengers
The original movie which brings the Avengers together finds its way to fifth on the list as a movie that you can certainly love and enjoy. Pop some popcorn and enjoy the show.
4. Captain America: The First Avenger
Coming in fourth, without this movie, there wouldn’t be a Marvel Universe and this entire nerdy list wouldn’t be around. This is a great movie and the introduction you need.
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
The first installment of this movie was amazing and is the perfect amount of rudeness and heroics to give you the entertainment you’re looking for in a Marvel movie.
2. Iron Man
The emergence and creation of Iron Man are told in this movie and throughout the MarvelUniverse, Iron Man is one of the most important characters. You’ll want to see this movie several times.
The Top Pick: Black Panther
Complexity in character building and dramatic family struggles find their way to an adventure film that is easily the top choice on the Marvel movie list. Sit back and enjoy the show, this one is going to entertain you.
Enjoy binge-watching all these amazing movies and see if you agree with this list or if you can come up with your own. It should be fun.
