The golf course was designed by Gary Player, considered one of the top three golfers in history. Player won nine majors tournaments: the Masters in 1961, 1974 and 1978, U.S. Open 1965, the British Open in 1959, 1968 and 1974 and the PGA Championship in 1962 and 1972.
Gary Player is also a renowned golf course architect with more than 325 design projects worldwide. Since the early 1980s, Player is also a world leader in designing golf courses that respect the ecosystems in which they are built, and look to maintain the natural characteristics of the site.
3 | A golf course like you have never seen before
The golf course has 18 holes and five starts, allowing all types of players to use the field. Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, Honduras is the ideal place to play golf.
The complex also has nine holes located in the middle of the jungle where birds, monkeys, ocelots, crocodiles and pichinches will witness your game. The remaining nine holes have a privileged view of the spectacular Jeannette Kawas and Punta Izopo nature reserves.
