When a company is able to get in bed with Google, they’ve entered a semi-exclusive club that millions would love to join. It’s a way of getting into the big leagues if you’re not already there or of reaffirming relevance if you’ve become big already. Phone-maker HTC falls into the latter category, but that doesn’t make their recent announcement any less impressive for them.
