Spotify turns to the dark side of privacy
As if knowing your location at any given time wasn’t enough, Spotify has taken it a step further by wanting to know if you’re walking, standing, or running, as well as gathering photos, media files and contact info. The information gathered may even be shared with third parties based upon the type of device you use.
The new policy doesn’t apply only to freemium users, paid users will also have to agree to the new terms.

The company claims to want to tailor to its users so that each can have the best experience. But, the only discretion Spotify seems to have at this point is toward those who are actually using your data.
