Windows 10 will launch this summer
Windows 10 may very well be the most anticipated iteration of Microsoft’s operating system to date and now we have definitive, if broad, idea of when to expect it. Windows chief Terry Myerson announced in a post on the company’s official Windows blog last night that “Windows 10 will be available this summer in 190 countries and 111 languages.” The post came shortly after Myerson spoke at the Windows Hardware Engineering Community (WinHEC) summit in Shenzhen earlier in the day and, as such, focuses mostly on China and how Microsoft will be partnering with companies such as Lenovo, Tencent, and even Xiaomi to roll out upgrades for existing Windows users and attract new customers.
