With the new model year almost upon us, and in some cases already going strong, there are many cars, trucks and SUV’s to get really excited about for the new model year. No matter what kind of vehicle is your pleasure this year offers something for everyone to enjoy. Here is a list of ten great new or redesigned vehicles to look forward to with great anticipation.
Ford F-150
Where did this idea come from? The F-150 comes in with an all-aluminum-alloy body which makes it much lighter and easier to handle than ever before. As a long time best seller in the truck segment this is sure to continue with the advantage of the easy handling and lighter vehicle. In addition to being lighter, the new body will help the F-150 make the most of the horsepower it possesses. Add to this advantage the change Ford has made to offer this model with a much easier and cheaper repair options with the changes of the layout of all the mechanics of this great truck. This allows F-150 owners to enjoy a lighter, more fuel efficient, highly powerful, and cheaper to repair vehicle than in years past.
Cadillac Escalade
Coming into 2015 in need of a series of upgrades, GM has addressed these needs and more offering a beautiful luxury SUV that is the flagship of their entire SUV lineup in the Escalade. Finally due for a remodel, the favorite of the subcompact class is ready for an upgrade. The 2015 Fit will offers more space, a new look, improved aerodynamics, and many other improvements to keep its longstanding title of the favorite of this class. Add to this the massive amount of tech packed into this great car and it truly keeps the ideal that good things really do come in small packages.
Subaru WRX
As nothing less than a complete disappointment in previous years, especially for those who got to see the concept car, the WRX is poised to make a full repair of its reputation. Coming in with 305 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and an easy to love six-speed manual transmission this is a car that is ready to race off road when needed and tear up the pavement during normal driving. The steering response has been improved dramatically and the overall drive feel is much smoother due to an improved suspension. All in all, this will be the year the WRX lives up to what it should have been all along, fun, powerful, and a great driver on and off the pavement.
Porsche Macan
Testing out the SUV market Porsche found a great deal of success with the Cayenne and now offers another fantastic crossover in the Macan. This excellent crossover SUV will start out at a very affordable price around $50,000 and offer a ton of luxury for owners to enjoy. For owners who want some added power the Macan Turbo S will carry a price over $72,000 but offer a monstrous 400 horsepower. Either way this is going to be a great new luxury crossover SUV for buyers to really enjoy.
Lincoln MKC
With the success of the flagship model MKZ the MKC is expected to arrive much later in the model year to offer a bit of a difference for SUV lovers. Coming in as a fantastic crossover that offers the options of either a 2.0 or 2.0 EcoBoost engine the MKC is certain to very well both in the US and internationally.
Audi Q3
Even though this crossover has been around Europe for a while, 2015 will be its debut in the US. As gap filler, which most crossovers tend to be, the Q3 will offer more cabin space than the A3, but will still perform to the highest of Audi standards. Meant to compete head to head with the Mercedes GLA, the Q3 is set to handle the competition very well and offer a 1.8 liter or 2.0 liter turbo diesel using the Audi/VW TDI technology.
Cadillac ATS Coupe
Taking away two doors from the sedan and offering a clean, simple, and elegant look to the car the ATS is a great offering from one of the long-standing leaders in the luxury class. Two great engines will be offered to power the ATS a 2.0 liter four-cylinder and a 3.6 liter V6 to allow shoppers to choose between fuel efficiency and horsepower. The ATS is certainly at the top of the class with a massive amount of Cadillac style and luxury which will be very hard for others in the class to beat.
