Moving up to the 2.5S model, starting at $22,630 the same engine is in place, but the standard features add to the 2.5 model with smart automatic headlights, Nissan intelligent key, 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and cruise control. Not a bad package at all for only a $500 bump in the price.
Still going upward to the 2.5SV Nissan Altima for a starting price of $24,280 an owner adds to the 2.5S model by including 17” aluminum-alloy wheels, Nissan intelligent key with remote engine start system, an audio system with a five inch color display, and NissanConnect. This package really adds the creature comforts so many drivers desire these days with the remote engine start and the audio system with large display.
At the top of the 2.5-liter engine lineup is the 2.5SL starting at $27,860. This model still offers all the features of the 2.5SV and the same engine found on the previous three models, but adds a few more great standard features. Added to the features list for the Nissan Altima 2.5SL model are fog lights, leather-appointed seats, and a Bose premium audio system.
Now the Altima moves into the 3.5 models starting with the 3.5S, the starting price is $26,260 but adds a 3.5-liter V6 engine offering up 270 horsepower with a still smart 22 city/31 hwy mpg. This base model of the 3.5 offers all the same features of the 2.5S with the addition of paddle shifters with a manual mode, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and an audio system with a five inch color display. This Altima is a sweet ride for the price, adding power to the function and fuel economy associated with the name.
Adding to the 3.5S version is the 3.5SV model starting out at $28,460 and featuring the same engine as the 3.5S. The standard features added to the 3.5SV model are power sliding glass moonroof, fog lights, and Nissan intelligent key with remote engine start system. All great features to add to an already impressive vehicle for just a small increase in the price.
