The lightweight V8 engine is the centerpiece of the car. It’s outward appearance looks less like a Bugatti and more like something you’d see on any road in America, but that’s not the appeal. It’s a sleeper of a race car – all engine without the strange curves or need to climb down into a sci-fi cockpit. Don’t judge it by its looks; the Volvo is designed to compete with the fastest cars in the world.
Clutchless upshifts. That’s what the six-speed sequential transaxle gearbox gives to this beast. It makes it a smooth accelerator in any circumstances. Whether driving this Volvo in New Jersey or taking it for a spin on the Autobahn, the Polestar is ready to make an impact on your heart rate.
