It has been speculated before that this was a marriage of publicity. That’s not to say that when 16-yar-old Courtney Stodden married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison three years ago, they did so without any feelings for one another, but the way that she started acting after turning 18 lends to the theory that it was an aging actor whole liked the limelight and a young girl who craved attention and wanted to make a name for herself.
Now, at 19, it appears that her course is clear and her stardom is achieved. The actor can go on making movies and television shows after three years of being a husband and father figure. This is all speculation, of course, but without knowing what’s in their hearts, the circumstantial evidence is pretty heavy. The two are splitting. His fairy tale is over while hers is just beginning.
