Two al-Shabaab members executed in Somalia for journalist assassination
In an effort to halt violence and intimidation by al-Qaeda linked al-Shabaab, the Somalian government executed two members by firing squad today. The two members, Abdirisak Mohamed Barow and Hassan Nur Al, reportedly confessed to being part of the militant terrorist organization in court.

Hindia Haji Mohamed was a producer and reporter for state-run outlets Radio Mogadishu and Somali National TV. She was assassinated when a remote detonated bomb was planted beneath her car seat.

While much of the world is focused on the rise of the Islamic State in the Middle East and their continued terrorist attacks in Europe, there are other radical Islamic terrorist groups that must also be stopped.
