Facebook takes another hit in Europe with their privacy policy

For a company so large, fighting regulations around the world can be a daunting task. Facebook has had its share of challenges with their privacy policy in various countries. The latest to give them heartburn: Belgium.

EU law is very sensitive to the privacy of its citizens, which can be a challenge for a company that specializes in bringing as much of a person’s life to the public view as possible. Now, they’ll have to face accusations from another group.

According to CNET:

At the request of the Belgian government’s Privacy Commission, two groups spent the last several weeks analyzing Facebook’s updated terms of service and data policy. On Monday, they declaredthat the company is acting unlawfully in Europe.
